Thanks Tinker for the great research

Diabetes is better understood if you think of the increased glucose levels as shards of glass in the blood stream damaging everything our blood comes in contact including the eyes. This increased glucose level happens because the body has developed a resistance to the glucose/insulin process of energy for the cells, which when normal allows athletes to achieve.

The first years of diabetes diet does help reduce blood glucose build up, as will exercise. As the muscles become weaker exercise will lessens. I went from five miles a day to now, just moving from room to room is a challenge. The heart/lungs have difficulty in keeping up. I think Thomas also mentioned this. I have my favorite chair, life is good there.

I think the best a super diabetic can hope for is a swift exit when their purpose is finished. In the old days diabetes was consider a natural cause.
