Actual information on Claravox
...but I kind of figured if I'm going to send it back eventually for being one of the lower numbers, I might as well do it right away.I'm curious what the turnaround time is on this service, from drop-off at FedEx to back at your home. I've been procrastinating sending mine (#0092) back because I don't want to be without it longer than necessary.
Ours took 17 calendar days.
I've noticed that if I touch the volume antenna and ground myself by touching something else grounded, I am able to get the volume almost entirely to zero, which is making me wonder if it's a grounding issue with the Claravox. It seems weird that the instrument would perform so well except for this volume issue. It would be so nice if it were just say a power supply issue and not actually something that requires the instrument be serviced...
It's an issue with the volume oscillator tuning. Grounding the volume antenna is obviously going to cause a big jump in the oscillator frequency.
Also what it the least expensive IPad that will run 14.3 so Claravox app will run? Does anyone know about android version? Thanks
I can tell you that an iPad 6G works well. You should be able to find one for under $200.
The Moog website doesn't say anything about an Android app, so I doubt they will ever release one.

The Claravox Editor will be available for download in Apple’s App Store when Claravox Centennial starts shipping later this year. A Windows version will be available shortly after shipping.
Thanks.
Has anyone tried the side calibration holes to adjust volume problems. I am a little afraid to mess with it. Mine isn’t that bad for now but if an adjustment can fix it easily I might as well try..

Moog had me try calibrating the volume side by tweaking the trim pot there, but even when going so far as to make the instrument unplayable there was still the quiet tone audible. I just sent the instrument to them for service as they say that they believe it is an issue with a component on the volume board that needs to be addressed.
It seems like this issue is pretty common, unfortunately.
What are the Mac requirements to run editor software for Claravox. Is the tab version the only one out? Any word on an android or PC version? Also does anyone else have a big volume difference between analog and modern mode and if so is there a easy fix? Thanks. A lot I like about the Claravox but still getting use to the differences between it and etherwaveplus. Tuning taking a while to get use to but worth the effort. Also is there an easy way to use Claravox to control pitch on Korg Miniloge?
Thanks again....

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/claravox/id1536620093
Requires macOS 10.15 or later.

No.

You mean traditional mode. Yes, seems like they all do this, no fix.
Thanks
Also, on my etherwaveplus the quiet zone behind your notes seems a lot bigger than the Claravox is this also normal. I appreciate all information. Thanks again...
