I had the good fortune to interview Bob Moog for the Beastie Boys magazine Grand Royal in the mid 90's. Bob and I hit it off and I traded some ads for the theremin. It is signed as "Thanks Jamie, this is the last one built....Oct 30 1997 Bob Moog" I was wondering what it would go for if i ever thought of selling it.

Thanks- Jamie Fraser

I think they go for anywhere between 3,000 and 5,000 dollars, but when listed on ebay they don't always sell. Usually they're sold on a one-to-one basis between thereminists who've corresponded, I suppose partly to ensure that the instrument finds a good home.

Don't sell it. I would question your humanity on the most fundamental levels (carbon, opposable thumbs etc)
