Oh, oh! I hope I haven't sent you on a wild goose chase?

If it's been anything like my search thus far, you come across a web site advertising one for sale, only to find that they haven't got one after all!

I can only offer sympathy, but not too much, cos I want one too! :-)

I'm going to buy the less expensive model, and keep searching for the Pro. I'll keep you in mind if I happen to discover one in the UK.
Cheers...

Hey Dave...there's an Etherwave Pro available in Paris if you are still interested. Unfortunately, he does not want to ship to Canada, otherwise I would have purchased it. I just got my Standard this morning, so at least I have something wonderful to play with this evening:)
Here's the info:
1700 Euros
The name of the seller is 'Nicholas Virani' and his profile on MySpace is at http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewpro
LOL!...YOU CAN ALSO FIND HIM RIGHT HERE...RIGHT NOW...HE POSTED 2ND ON THE PAGE.

I have heard the Etherwave standard referred to as an entry level instrument, but I think that is unfair to what is a wonderful instrument. I would not feel that you are getting a poor product with this....

Navrag...I really appreciate your opinion. Have you ever tried to play a PT-O3 Portable Theremin? It looks very appealing...

very true Navrag,
I was talking to Rob Schwimmer in New York - he has both but prefers the standard.

I like both - the standard has definite portability power.

Thanks guys for this positive feedback. I was feeling a little down that I couldn't find a Pro, but it's really nice to hear good things about the Standard. I'm nuts busy at work this week, and can't take my Standard out of the box until the weekend...I'm so excited:):):)

The circuitry for the etherwave standard has been revised several times, improving both tone and linearity. Older reviews may not give a fair picture of the instrument as it is now.

Livingjane. Can you provide a link for the PT-03? I don't seem to see anything on google.

I prefer the standard for the volume control. It's an excellent instrument, and easyer to travel with.
