I agree. That price is astounding, and just wrong on all levels.

They've obviously been hording these instruments with the intention of scalping them to unsuspecting musicians.

By the way: Thomas, are you satisfied with the volume response of your Etherwave Pro?

Yes, I am. I like a snappy response for staccatos. I've not had any difficulty doing gradual dynics either.

By the way, I asked BCM why they were asking sooo much for the EPro, and their response was that it was based on what they got for a couple of e-bay auctions. I think that's crazy. It's not a classic, and it's still servicable by Moog Music. It's not worth half what they're asking. NUTS! And in my professional oppintion, anyone who pays even 4,000 for one is NUTS. Just an oppinon.

I'd buy a Wavefront Classic before coughing up that much cash, or a downpayment on an RCA....OR stick with the two nice theremins I own now and be satisfied. I do so really need to record something.
