It isn't... since this one does not have my EPVM1345 module integrated. So it has only a sub-obtimal volume response.

Oooops, my bad. I should have been more specific (and those useless Moog employees should be more specific too).

It's not a theremin. It's an "enclosure" for Thierry's volume control module. Duh.

are folks really paying more than 2K for these?

Yes. For a while, some people were paying anywhere from $4000 to $6000 for one.
