Shameless self-promotion on my part here. I'll be playing at 8:00pm at the Lansdown in Clifton, Bristol, supporting the singer David Thomas Broughton, alongside Chipper (a solo cellist), Rosie Garard (a teenage songwriting prodigy). Come along for some theremin-based fun for the first half hour, and then more fun for the remainder!

I'll be along, yes sir.

Actually... bugger. My band's guitarist has just informed me we have rehearsals on sunday evening :( So I won't be able to make it. I'm really sorry, Charlie, I know you came to my gig and everything. But I have something in mind for you, I'll be in touch a few days from now.

Oh well. Bruce n' Gordon are coming, and so are loads of my friends from school. Don't worry Alex - there'll be plenty of other chances I'm sure (and probably countless shockingly low-res videos to watch).

You'll want to tell your schoolfriends to get down there early - the Garrards and their legions of family friends and all their families have a tendency to sell out gigs! Many people are buying tickets in advance as a result...

Legions maybe . . . but I have a veritable hoarde of followers! Thanks for the advice though - we'll aim to get there asap.

I'm looking forward to it.
