Hello Theremin Worldians,

I'll be playing a live session on Bristol Community Radio on Thursday April 5th at 10:00pm. If you're in the Bristol area, you can tune in to 93.2fm and listen there on a real actual radio - for the rest of you, you're that lucky that you can actually listen via the live stream on http://bcfm.org.uk. I hope you'll tune in and send me your thoughts.

I will be there.

Real radio is a lot of fun. I did percussion on a couple of local shows promoting festivals and the like.

You will have fun. Just don;t get too nervous and you will be fine.

I've done a session on Resonance FM before, however it wasn't for Theremin stuff and my nervousness didn't come across quite so much on the air. I kind of feel like this will be different. Still, the guy hosting is a friend so I think I'll be okay.

It's really only just started up and seems to be centred around the DIY music scene in Bristol, I guess if you don't move in those circles you'd have had little reason to have heard of it, but tune in and spread the word :P

For a while there it looked like we'd be hearing a selection from your forthcoming album "Theremin Unplugged", but one the bugs were ironed out you came over pretty well.

Thankyou Gordon. The main bug was a relatively large desk that was a) mostly disabled and b) completely free of anyone who knew how to run it. I found it hard to believe that there wasn't a single working jack input on there, but that's what the shrieking lunatic of a station manager told me and since I couldn't bring myself to say "you are more harm than good, get the hell away from my equipment"... well, y'know.

In the end the second piece won out for me. The first one sucked in a way I didn't expect it to, my experiences with the station manager had left me very nervous as per usual, shakes come into play and it sounded, to my ears, 'orrible. Way out of tune. Sigh!
