10 thereminsts together at Los Angeles Disney Hall on May 26th

Steve Martin and the NY Theremin Society are thrilled to arrange the historic
attempt of bringing 10 Thereminists together in an ensemble to perform at the
Los Angeles Disney Hall on May 26th. This had only happened once before, 75
years ago at Carnegie Hall. The Thereminsts are Rob Schwimmer, Armen Ra, Dalit
Warshaw, Dorit Chrysler, Carolina Eyck, Steve Martin, Kevin Lee, Charles Lester,
Roger Ballenger and Robby Virus.

Any one hear more about this?
The Spanish listings and a mention on Dorit's site are all I've found.

Don't know if Roger Ballenger is still around this site, or if any other of the performers are readers here and would post their experiences. I know I'd love to hear about it, this looks great. Hope they use that cool pipe organ too.

Has anyone heard what the program is at least?

Looks really interesting,
but not purely theremin.

Seems more of a big mix of a late night extraganza of Russian music.

Good to see Dalit Warshaw in the list, haven't heard much of her since she appeared at NYTS with Pamalea. I doubt she'll take the Clara Rockmore theremin out to LA.

And honestly, the NYTS has had more than 10 theremins playing at once.

"At midnight, Christoph Bull will give a organ performance, and for the first time since Leon Theremin conducted the original ten Theremin Orchestra at Carnegie Hall in 1932, the concert is recreated with ten theremin players on the stage at Walt Disney Concert Hall. In celebration of the birthdate of the late Robert Moog, pioneer of this electronic instrument, the evening also features a special tribute to Moog, whose company is the leading manufacturer of theremins today."

Well dedecated to Bob is alot better than a salute to Stalin like it was origionaly planned. I still think the performers are all being too quiet about their participation.

but I too have found it very curious that none of the participants have said a peep about it past the very early announcement.

Maybe they are all really busy practicing for it.
