At the Bate Collection, which is part of the Oxford University Faculty of Music, Lydia will be giving a talk as part of the conference "Russia's
Musical revolutionaries".

There will be:
1. A lecture-demonstration about the Theremin invention, in the Denis Arnold Hall, Music Faculty, St. Aldate's, Oxford at 12:00,
attendance free

2. "Hands On, Hands Off" Workshop at Bate collection 4:30pm, attendance free

3. Theremin recital in Newman Room, Catholic Chaplaincy, Rose Place, St.Aldate's, 7:30pm (tickets GBP 10 from Tickets at
Oxford and on the door)

The talks during the day are part of a wider seminar (Google "Russia's Musical Revolutionaries", then click on RHUL or DPIR or BASEES to link to the whole programme and some useful subsidiary links)and attendance is free for the entire day. Lydia's concert has an entrance of £10.

Dr. Rosamund Bartlett is the organiser (link to her via Google result as above).

Lydia would welcome friends from the theremin community to attend alongside the academics who will be involved in the event.
