I'm a trustee of the Long Island Wireless Historical Society based in Sayville, NY. We produce an annual Long Island Radio Day event at the Tilles Center in Greenvale, NY.
We bring together speakers and exhibits relating to the history of radio.
I feel a theremin demonstation would add an exciting insight into this unique and historical instrument heard on radio and in film.
Any candidates?

Well, for starters, currently the NYC based members of the
New York Theremin Society
are:
Elizabeth Brown
Dorit Chrysler
Michael Evans
Jen Hammaker
John Hoge
Rob Schwimmer
David Simons
And outside but near of New York
(and here often)
are:
Jon Berhnardt
Kip Rosser
Anthony Ptak
Most have links on Dorit's NYTS page
http://www.doritchrysler.com/
go to news and look for a NYTS link.
There are of course many more NY players who are hopefully lurking about here.
