Wow! Maybe this is my fifteen minutes of fame? [grin]. The translation was a good, albeit temporary, excuse to avoid actually learning how to play my theremin; now I had better get to work.

I must emphasize that without the invaluable assistance of Brian Robison I could not have done a decent job, because I lack sufficient formal education in music to be able to understand the technical parts in any language. I am also grateful for the encouragement of Thomas Grillo.

Well deserved and hopefully more than 15 minutes.
Alan, I just want to add my personal thanks to you and repeat them to Victor!

The existing body of Theremin printed theremin technique, history and technical reference is so small, this is a very important contribution. Hopefully it will help theremin players and scholars for many years to come. I enjoyed the Spanish edition even with my limited Spanish and got a lot out of it.

very much appreciated! - John

I would like to thank Alan, also, and of course, Victor..I have just bought a Moog Etherwave standard theremin, and, after finding Victor's website, and a few E-mails later, I discovered that Alan had been working on an English translation. I received an up-front copy, and it was extremely useful. Thanks Alan, well done, and good luck with mastering the theremin!
Regards
Peter Cole

Are the MIDI files still available? The link doesn't seem to work now.

I could not get the MIDI files either.. the link takes one to :

However, going via the site http://web.mac.com/estudioserin/theremin/ one can select the 'scores' which takes you to http://web.mac.com/estudioserin/theremineng/Scores.html and I had no problem downloding the files from here.
