11th Commandment or 11th Plague?

Last night's listening brought a surprise, there sure sounds like there's a theremin in "The Plagues" cue from the soundtrack of The Ten Commandments. It even sounds like our old friend Bud. Anyone know for sure?

I don't know who it might be, but Peter Pringle has mentioned many times the use of a theremin in the soundtrack of "The Ten Commandments". However, after watching it many times, I have never heard it in the actual movie.

I noticed it listening to the soundtrack CD, it's an unusually integrated use of the theremin for that time, it's in the "Plagues" cue. In isolation from the film with all it's drama and sound effects my ears pricked up with the compulsive "is-that-a-theremin?" reflex I think we're all starting to suffer from.
