My little brother was fairly excited to show me a game he rented. It's called "Destroy all Humans", basically a parody game of 50's sci-fi movies. The reason he was so excited to show me is the theme music for the game sounds alot like a theremin.

I'm not sure that it is with all the computer generated music for things like videogames, but it's obvious that they were looking for that 50's sci-fi theremin sound.

They did not use real theremins in Destroy All Humans.

Even so, the soundtrack CD is still fun. Besides a few updated versions of some classic '60's tunes, "Help Me" is a great tune that uses the "Gort" theme theremin from "The Day The Earth Stood Still".

Yes, this is a fun soundtrack to listen to. Fun game too. I've evin experimented with playing my theremin along with some of the soundtrack at times.
