Question about a PHOTO-THEREMIN??????

Hello.. I Have a question about the Professor Television Photo theremin I just bought. It has a speaker on the surface but it doesnt work. Can anyone please help me with this? Ive looked inside to see if there was a wires loose and there is know wire coming from the speaker at all. Weird I think? I don't no much about these unfortuantly and could use HELP.
