Ok, here you go ...

Do a search on google for "tesla coil music"!

There is a ton of fun stuff there.

Ok ... the next challenge is to control a Jacob's ladder or tesla coil with your theremin :)

Talk about a great gimmick to get gigs!

I am sure venues will be queueing up to have electricity arcing all over their stage. :-|

Around here they would probably do just about anything to get more customers in. (Just have to not allow lawyers :) )

Nothing gets someone's attention like a big giant spark!

djpb__designs,
Thanks for the Tesla link--- interesting, but I have seen better bipolar coils. Also, I think that the makers of that coil on the given link are hiding behind technology or obfuscating the simplicity of that device. It is after all a spark-gap bipolar Coil: it doesn't need an oscilliscope, computer, or surplus military radar control console to make it run!
Cripes!
G-gle Ed Wingate to see a fantastic bipolar Coil!
Good Luck!

Thanks for the Ed Wingate reference, teslatheremin.

The photos are AMAZING, especially the composites of the magnifier. WOW!

This thread went places I wasn't expecting, but sometimes those are the best threads. Neat stuff! Thanks for all the links to browse through at work at home. Definitely at home...
