New Silicon Chip Mini Theremin Mk. 2

Hey, any luck with building the delux jaycar? I'm very interested to know how well it plays, sounds, and performs. Does it make for a reliable, decent sounding instrument?

I don't seem to see the MIDI theremin on the jaycar site. Has it been discontinued? Does the new theremin have MIDI?

Oh no! They seem to have dropped the MIDI Theremin project! EEK!

I already bought mine, at least, but if I liked it when it's finished I was going to buy another, to be the emergency backup. And, a friend of mine was going to buy one too. Grr.

This is a bad thing: I don't think anyone else makes a MIDI Theremin or a MIDI Theremin kit.

I have just noticed a thread about the Jaycar/Silicon Chip Mini Theremin Mk.2 kit. Someone had stated that the kit is not on the website and no longer available. I live in Australia and shop at Jaycar and the kit is still on the shelf and in the current catalogue.
