Tank (LC) Circuit Help

Hey everyone, I'm Zsy and I'm new here, I've been an electronics student for almost 4 years (I'm in a technical high school) and I'm designing a theremin for my senior year design project! Now, onto the technical stuff.

I've been wondering, what resonant frequency is best to use for the pitch-control tank (LC) circuit? Does anyone out there happen to know what resonant frequency the ones in the Etherwave operate at?

I believe the Etherwave operates around 250KHz.
If you are going to do a similar design something
in the 200-300KHz range should work fine.
