About the only thing left is to stain the wood where we drilled the holes for the cables to pass thru and install the pilot lamp lens when that comes in. I haven't decided whether or not to put a name plate on her.

I did add a grounded power cord and did a few other minor tweaks to the circuit layout, and she sounds great!

That's one beautiful piece of art you have there! Very inspiring.

I still have a ways to go before having a working theremin of any sort, but I'd love to take all the old tube stuff I have laying around in the garage and build a tube theremin someday. And maybe I will add a "magic tube" indicator for pitch indication just for the heck of it. I'm pretty sure I have the old one I scavenged from a dead 1950's tape recorder somewhere in the heap.

We're done. The pilot lamp is in, and is a large 1" diameter green jewel. The staining is complete. We're going to Asheville. What part would you like to see?

I think pretty much so. Just hard to make time to create the habit of practicing; work has been going nuts. Which beats some of the alternatives! Thanks to Thomas Grillo's latest YouTube lessons, I discovered that there was an area of limited linearity near the pitch antenna that I hadn't realized, and how to compensate for it (move hand toward antenna at an angle, rather than horizontally).
