I thought the tVox Tour had a metal enclosure?

This is rather improbable. It might be that the case bottom is metal, but I see too much electrotechnical obstacles for a metal case top. I will verify this in Lippstadt from march 13 to 15.

OT/BTW: Gordon, do you plan to attend Without Touch 3.0 in Lippstadt in march 2009?

PAiA only wants the T-MAX to have a ground plane under the circuit board, as is pointed out in the THEREMAX kit manual.

Good Luck!

Snuffy: I ordered the Theremax kit without the box, because I have to build my own box for this school project. My dad has a bunch of tools downstairs, so I am able to work on the Theremin at home.
I found an old wood mail box that was still in great condition, so I cut a hole on the front to mount the front panel of the Theremin. I also cut a small hole on the back side of the box and put a grill to let the air circulate. As for the circuit board, I have mounted it on part of an old computer power supply, and I will mount the hole thing inside the mail box. I have also cut a hole in the lid of the mail box and put a transparent piece of plastic so that you can see the circuits and stuff. All I have left to do is drill a hole in the back of the box for the power cord, and then I want to put some LEDs inside to make the Tehremin look cool.

I will try and post some pics on flickr, but I have to make an account first.
