I put together the etherwave kit and am having problems with the volume output.
The volume antenna dosen't work, and the output is quiet, I did replace r33 to lower the output to guitar levels but now I have to have my amp in overdrive to hear it very well.
I put the coil, L11, through it's full range of motions without any noticiable difference in volume, so I hooked up a voltmeter from pin 12 of U3 to ground and once again put the coil through it range and nothing. It consistently read -11.18 volts dc.
I found a reference to D1 dying and causing this same problem, so I replaced it and still nothing.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
I am reluctant to send it to Moog to be fixed mostly because of the shipping both ways added to the cost of the repairs. If there is anyone who could do the repairs and happens to live a reasonable distance from roanoke, virginia I would gladly take it there and pay to have it fixed.
Thanks,
Michael
