MIDI interface for just about any Theremin

I saw that too. When I owned an Ethervox, it was really difficult to find any equipment that supported 14-bit pitchbend signals. I regretfully sold the Etherox several years ago (it has a great home now though), but as when I saw the new Model 15 app supported 14-bit, my mind immediately flashed to wondering how it'd work with the Ethervox.

Yes exactly it would be great to see if it works, as the 14-bit compatibility has always been a problem.

Let's hope that someone will test it and let us know, theoretically is seems that it will work!

I dearly wish there were higher bandwidth / better fit alternatives to CV and MIDI for continuous controllers.  Building a synth is a lot of work, but it almost seems mandatory (see the Continuum).  MIDI will almost certainly have latency / timbre / zipper / resolution issues (see the Theremini), CV can easily have latency as well (particularly in the capture / conversion phase). 

I may have it wrong, but isn't the EWPro basically a rudimentary CV synth internally?  If so I wonder what the analog latency is?  No one talks about analog latency, but it can be very real.

Check out his Midi Merlin program which is affordable and after many years of development is now coming to market.

the i2m musicport from sonuus supports 14-bit pitchbend. a handy audio/midi converter. if you have a 64-bit ipad and a cameraconnectionkit you're ready to check out that nifty new app. the i2m is quite fast, (5ms A5, 40ms B0) and  powers up from the pad. cool little piece of gear. not a ethervox, but hey, i guess those are now mucho expensivo!

Yah, too bad Moog doesn't target the Kindle Fire 7" (I just picked one up for $39).  Not enough horsepower?  Not 1337 enough?

If Randy George is reading this: Randy, have you considered offsetting the Theremin null point to keep your software from having to resolve really low Hz, and compensating mathematically?  This prevents you from mixing in the audio from the Theremin itself, but I believe this is the best way to minimize pitch capture latency in this scenario.  Any idea of the latency (inertial and transport) in Midimerlin?  What is your filtering function for multiple capture cycles?
