Well, I ordered my theremin at the right time. I got one of the last 80 all-wood ones. It is so beautiful, and a marvel of industrial design (like I have to tell this forum). I hope to some day make a sound to match it's beauty, but alas, as of right now, boy, do I SUCK! I have the Peter Pringle DVD, so that's a start, but I'm trying hard not to get too disillusioned. Damn you, Lydia Kavina, for making it seem so easy!

I found it took me nearly a month to get used to the linearity of the pro, but it's worth the effort.
I said the same thing about Clara Rockmore too.
Guess that's why it's the hardest instrument to play "well".
Enjoy that work of art. I missed getting the all wood one by a few days.

Congrats Zerobeat! I know exactly how you feel right about now. The walnut backed E-Pro is quite a beauty and one of eighty ain't a bad thing either! Get ready for hours, days, nights and weeks of seemingly endless fun.

About that music machine,,,and musicians feared being put out of a job by the theremin.
