Ejamming

There was some speculation about this concept in some of the threads so I thought I would post a site here...

I haven;t looked into it yet but apparaently you can jam with each other over the internet.

Cool! Now, we can actually do a theremin group without interferance problems. Just syncing issues, maybe?

I haven't looked into it yet but they say they have solved the problem.

The concept is somehting I wanted to try in the mid 90's but the technology just wasn't ready.

Maybe now it is...

They have "solved the problem" by delaying the sound of your instrument until it lines up with the latency of the system.

I don't see that working well with theremins. :-(

Whew! where do you get the PHD, and astronaughtics degree needed to run all that software?

Whatever happened to good old fashioned video conferencing? Not that I could afford that.

I guess I could get used to figuring out all that mumbo jumbo, but I see why it might not work with theremins, after having watched all the tutorials.

At least something's out there for musicians to get together via long distances with now.
