Website Performance and Crashes on Sundays

Seems something goes down at our host on Sundays to slow the site down and sometimes crash it Sunday nights and Monday mornings.

The same thing happens to me!
But i can usualy trace it to a single malt.(or 2)

The hosting company is apparently blaming a Cisco switch. But I think your explanation is much more likely true.
