Using theremin to play Singstar or Rock Band

There are a couple games out, like Singstar and Rock Band, that have you sing along to the song and score you on your pitch and how close it is to the actual song. The games don't factor in how close the words are to the actual lyrics just the pitch, and it can be in any octave. I was wondering if it is possible to just put the microphone from the game up to a theremin speaker and play the game like that. I would love to try this out but I don't have a theremin, maybe someone with access to both a theremin and one of the games could test it out.

In about a month I should have both and if someone hasn't already done it I would be happy to try!

Definitely sounds like it would work.

You'd have to be quite the "Theremin Hero" to get a good score though, depending on how sensitive the game itself is. :P

FUnny you should mention this. My wife and son got me Rock Band for Xmas and I came up with this idea as well. All you would need is a quarter inch to USB cable...
