Dan Burns now has a new model of his B3 theremin called the B3 Pro.

The B3 Pro features a beautifully crafted cherry cabinet. This new cabinet is long enough to give the antennas the appropriate separation.

A very welcome addition is a "mute plate" near the volume antenna. When the plate is touched, the theremin is either muted, or un-muted, with an LED to alert the player to whether the theremin is muted (red) or not (green).

I believe this model will satisfy many of the people who lament the absence of the Kees Enkelaar theremin.

I have been away from theremins for a while and on arrival back I find the B3-Pro has nailed down what many of us theremin builders and users have been looking for. My hat is off to Dan Burns and his brilliant research, effort and the enormous time he has put into his instrument.

Thank you Dan

Very nice looking machine. Thomas does an excellent review / demo of the new B3 Pro model, too.
