Like a lot of people, I have my own computer, and nobody else uses it. I don't need Theremin World to log me out in less than a day... when I log in, it could give me a cookie to keep me logged in for months and months and that would just make life easier.

Could we have a "don't log me out" option?

Is the "remember login" checkbox not working for you? It should do essentially the same thing.

I don't claim to be any kind of expert on computers. That said....
Have you checked the privacy settings on your computer? (Control Panel - Internet Options) If these are set too high your computer may be blocking the cookies needed for this to work. They can be overridden for specific websites if you like.

Ok - thanks for all the info. I uploaded a fix to correct one problem with the auto-login feature last night, but it looks like we still have a few more to figure out.

I've noticed it's working much better for me today, but I'll try to reproduce what everyone else is seeing and get it fixed. It SHOULD keep you logged in if you ask it to - the fact that it isn't for some people is definitely a bug.

Could you all please tell me which browsers you're using? Not that I suspect a particular browser, but it might help narrow the issue down.

thanks!

I'm using Safari v1.2.4 on MacOS X v10.3.7.

It seems to be working better today, I'll know if it still has me logged in tomorrow or so.

I set the login cookies to expire after 60 days - hopefully that will help.
