I just downloaded 'MouSing' from: http://www.sagebrush.com/mousing.htm

I have been fiddling around with it to give myself a taster of what playing the thereming might be like. How do you guys think the software compares to the playability of the instrument? Is it anything like playing a theremin (without using the left hand)?

Any comments on the software- I have enjoyed playing around with it, and have just been playing along with some of the pieces on the Rockmore CD.

MouSing is so fun! Grrr! Must have theremin!

(Just realised that for some reason the pitch-mapping is the wrong way around in MouSing- the lower notes are closer together than the upper notes)

I haven't tried it but I will and let you know how it compares.

Here's my attempt at playing "Le Cygne". It is still horribly out of tune because I have only been playing for a day, and has no dynamics because they are really difficult to do on the PC. It should give you an idea of what the program sounds like though:

Hey - that's pretty good for being played on Mousing. Thanks for sharing!
