We are producers of a podcast called The Bionic Genius Roundtable. We record a weekly show on creativity, music, movies & just plain fun.

We will be recording two back-to-back holiday shows on 12/14/2005 and need a few things:

1] Several MP3 files to "air" on the shows. Intro music, as well as s few feature tracks.

2] Hopefully - a Theremin expert who we can interview on the phone. [12:30pm Eastern time]

We're looking to entertain & enlighten the world. Visit www.bionicgenius.com to see what we're all about.

Hi:

I'd very much like to do your phone interview. Am I an expert? Apart from being less famous than Clara Rockmore or a few others, sure. Most recently, I produced a full-length production in New York City devoted specifically to the theremin -- though it was far more than a music recital.

Please take a look on my website for commentary, some music samples, art work, lots of photos, and reviews of performances:

Sounds like a great opportunity, I hope to hear from you. Now I'm off to checl out your site.

Thanks,

Kip Rosser

P.S. I'm designing a new page for the site that will include new theremin selections and animation almost daily. Coming soon.

Look up Peter Pringle and see if he would be willing to do this with you.

"OOPS! Sorry -- The Podcast will take place on Wed, 12/21. Alan"

The Christmas Slay Issue Episode 0000007 of The Bionic Genius Roundtable was indeed released today.

Here is my review of it.

It has no theremin, or other redeeming features.

It is 33 minutes and 13 seconds long.

No - We RECORDED it TODAY 12/21. The non-redeeming show you listened to had no Theremin.

On TODAY's recording, we interviewed Pamelia Kurstin. The show will "air" on 12/26.

Thanks for your interest.

Oops again.

My misunderstanding. I apologise.

Interviewing Pamelia Kurstin earns double redemption points in my book. Looking forward to Boxing Day now.

:-)

Thanks! Yah - We also 'give props' to Project Pimentoin the intro with their Star Trek theme. Really fun stuff.

Thanks for your interest!

On the 21st, we taped The Theremin Issue podcast, featuring music from Project Pimento and a phone interview with Pamelia Kurstin. Listen as she plays over the cell phone from Vienna!

The closing od this show feels like a twisted NPR: a track by Pamelia and Greg Kurstin - Gershwin's "Our Love Is Here To Stay". Listen for Pam's theremin bass solo.

40:54 running time
