Now here's a thought....

So yesterday I was sitting around in the garden making noises with a grass flute ( I'm assuming you know what a 'grass flute' is, just a piece of grass basically), then I had the idea of recording the noise the adding some delay and reverb. The result was like a thereminy sort of squealing noise, then I thought, would it be possible to play a piece of grass like a proper instrument? or maybe several different pieces of grass 'tuned' to different pitches? that'd be pretty cool.

I heard a story on NPR last year about this Mexican guy who plays grass flute and he really did some melodic stuff.
