The crowd is shouting!

I am takning on board some of the advice that I received and I am trying improve... (though the more I practice the worse it sounds..)

Hey Garvan.

Oh boy, am I clad you tell me that!
Every time I try something the big boys tell me, it turns out horrible.
My wife and children comment like: "Yesterday it did sound better." And my children: "Maybe you should practice more dad." And than my wife: "Maybe you should leave it alone for a short while, you are overdoing it." And so on.... :-)

Meanwhile I'm still pressing on and practice every day. Somedays with headphones. Somedays when I'm alone, I practice on speaker. (Which is rare with 4 children and all the friends.) And sometimes .... well sometimes I just let them have it. :-) Theremin on speaker, and here it comes. :-D

Last one day, they did not say anything. I could only draw ONE conclusion... I had improved! (Might not be the right conclusion, but that did not bother me. I drew it anyway. :-)
And so, I recorded Silent Night and put it on the forum. :-)

If it does not sound like you intent to Garvan, you probably now *WHAT* you have to improve on. So what? Let us have it bigtime. :-)
So the big boys, whom I do thank very VERY much for their support, can tell you *HOW* to improve.

So, c'mon Garvan. Hit us right in the ears with a new soundbyte, so I can admire and hate you for beeing better than me, and the big boys can teach us how to become even better. We are becomming big boys to. Trust me!

Hello guys,

today I had a very weird experience.

I was doing the 'The Rose' from Bette Midler.
While playing, my fingers seemed to 'lock' into place to produce notes. Every note was right on key and was stable even in the long ones.
I seemed to be unable to get the tones off pitch.....
All went with great ease. Very odd.
My wife was the only spectator and she was very impressed. "You finally have got it!"

I immediately made a recording.... which failed.
I tried and tried again, but I did not get it back. It just happened this one time.
It was a very special experience and I hope this will happen again soon. It felt very good.

Today I went to Wilco Botermans who has learned me a thing or two about Aerial Fingering.
I have some exercises now I'm going to practice.

Boy, am I having fun.
I never expected the Theremin to grab me like this. I'm very exited. :-)
