Is anyine making a RCA Theremin?

Hey guys,

I actually just finished building a RCA replica using the chassis and Power supply from a radiola 60 housed in a mahogany cabinet, a la Mike Buffington.    I also restored a 106 speaker driver and have built a diamond speaker loosely based on Floyd Engels' repro's. - that still needs a bit of work though-  make the outer frame to hold the grill/speaker cloth, sand and finish the base, etc.   The theremin also has some minor things on the to do list:   make a extended pilot lamp holder,  rewind the vol antenna coil (mine has some battle damage when it tumbled off the bench***),   fix the bead in the rear under the doors, get proper antenna mounts-....  otherwise she looks and sounds great.    I hope to get some images up soon(and update my website) but I have been so busy.

*** BTW,  if anyone is interested, In addition to Keppinger coils,  I can now supply RCAcoil sets. I even have cloth covered magnet wire.

Amey, two things: First, I didn't see that you had been called a dumb blonde. If I had seen that, I would naturally have jumped to your rescue. French knights are known for that. ;-)

Second, I almost never wear neckties (only on funerals)! Normally I prefer having an open collar or still better wearing turtleneck sweaters.

Maybe it's switched on the othe side of the pond but there is definitely a distinction here. Using "advise" for both words is incorrect, not that I care too much,

I wouldn't want to have the job of correcting Grammar and spelling on the Internet.
