Man - what I am trying to say is this.. I think we all live in our own delusional worlds.. Sometimes perhaps our delusions may be common (or in common) with the delusions of others - and then we can have a common "truth" which we share.. But if we dont have the same delusions and if we dont "share" the same "worlds" (or if there is not much overlap or interlacing of our "worlds" and our delusions) then your "truth" could be my "untruth" - we could see each other as liars and see ourselves as "honest".

I dont think there is such a thing as truth (I do think there are things which are verifiably untrue). I also wonder sometimes what "caring about other people" REALLY boils down to.

You see - I have this problem.. I dont understand your  posting... I dont understand what you are trying to say - cannot read whether you are agreeing or disagreeing with my comments - cant tell if you are angry or humerous or feel offended or what ..

As a child I suffered from something in the autistic spectrum, and misunderstanding other peoples 'states' was a problem (sarcasm was something I could never understand or handle until I was in my early teens .. when I "got it" for a while I must have been unbearable - because I practiced it  incessantly! ;-) - perhaps some of this still remains... But I think it more likely that nobody understands anyone else - we just delude ourselves and others into believing that we do.

Here is a wonderful description of YouTube comments, published in the MANCHESTER GUARDIAN in 2009:

"Juvenile, aggressive, misspelled, sexist, homophobic, swinging from raging at the contents of a video to providing a pointlessly detailed description followed by a LOL, YouTube comments are a hotbed of infantile debate and unashamed ignorance – with the occasional burst of wit shining through."

The number of hits a YouTube video gets has nothing to do with the quality of the video itself. The fact that Justin Bieber's BABY has half a BILLION hits on YT says volumes. LOL

I always said that Popularity is not an indicator of Quality. but of course, that statement alone is debatable...
