Hi all,

The film was premiered last night at the Red Carpet Screenings event in Basingstoke. It seemed to be very well received and both the producer and the editor commented that the theremin work has really enhanced the piece.

In the end we had contributions from two thereminists from this group, Gordon and Rob. Both of which feature in the film and both of which have a credits. We're making a few final tweaks this week and the film should be online for all to view very soon. I will post the link here when it is.

I would just like to say a big thank you to Gordon and Rob for taking the time to help us out and for doing it so quickly.

Good to hear it was well received.

Will it be available for viewing online?

Well, you say that, but I suspect that "Hey, lady, do you wanna ... hear my spooky woo woos." may rank amongst the worst pick-up lines ever.

"The Woo Woos" appeals to me as the name for a traveling group of Thereminists.

The sounds I sent in, not to put too fine a point on it, sound like someone doing rude things to a cat.

I've discovered from this attempt that as a thereminist, I make a good guitar player :)

I loaded it with a bag of reverb. That can help cover mistakes ;-)
