If you are seriously interested in obtaining a "furniture-sized" tube theremin, you are more than welcome to come over and take my  RCA replica theremin for a test drive  (Im in Brooklyn.)      ... heh,  if you like it,   I can build you one for considerably less than $20,000.    I also built a keppinger tube theremin, but currently that one is at my studio and out of commission until i get to winding some new antenna coils.

Have you thought of the Burns Theremin? THey have a pro one out and it looks lovely. Thomas Grillo has several videos featuring it. You might like it very much!

Amethyste, do you know what the price of a subscope is?

 Just remember that Amey is in the genius theremim player dept so can really make that SubScope perform well!!!!!

I checked it out and it was about 600 Euros.
