I posting a question that might have already been answered here ,and I'm sorry if I didnt get the right forum,,,couldnt find exactly where to put my question,,so..my question is , I havent played my theremin in 3 days and having had 3 days of cold spells here in Montreal Canada, do you think this affected my pitch knob? I 've been playing 5 days a week ,3 hours a day and always had perfect distance, from the Theremin , lowest pitch behind me like Carolina Eyeck has been teaching me , and bang ! today , the lowest note is 6 inches from my shoulder , then zero beat and as I move to touch my shoulder, the sound rises,,impossible to have it otherwise.
My knob is usually turned counterclock wise to the end and it was perfect .please dont tell me I have to put a screwdriver in this instrument .. I am zero in this , but was wondering if the cold messed it up..I leave it at the same place everytime I play. Right now I am cranking up the heat in hopes that it will help.I have it in the basement, and it is finished and well heated. The sound is great, and the same. I was coming along so good !
Au secour someone !? I need to play !!
Merci !
