Hi Everyone, I am Michelle, Dana's daughter.

I thought you would all like an update. Today is 12/11/13, He had his surgery and did well through it, but had other complications that transpired because of the surgery. It has been a long road and he is still in the hospital. He is out of critical danger now, but has a long road to recovery. Thanks for all the prayers.

Dad's next step is to, hopefully, go to a rehab facility this Friday. If he is still unable to post, my Mom or I will try to keep everyone informed of his progress or with special messages from him.

Sorry if this is not where to post this information as I am unfamiliar with this site.

My Dad has great respect and the upmost love in his heart for his theremin-world friends and family and talks of all of you often.

Thank you all for the love, support, and prayers that you have sent.

It was very thoughtful of you to keep us all posted! Give your dad our best wishes for a full recovery and tell him to get his butt OUT OF THE HOSPITAL as quickly as he can. Hospitals are dangerous places and if you stay there too long you are liable to get sick with something other than what you had when you checked in. 

Please continue to keep us informed when you have time, and I hope Dana will be back to TW soon.
