Hey folx, oft-lurker & first-time poster here.

I put a quick video up of how I use the theremini,

in hopes that it might offer the newbs like me another way to play it.

I play chords simultaneously on a Yamaha Motif, with My left hand.

Volume gets done with a footpedal.
I am using "Lost in Fog" patch, normally run it through a fender reverb > Kemper KPA

but I am just using the speaker in this video. (no pitch correction)

I am a singer & a fairly good whistler,

& I want to eventually get those vibes to come across thru the Theremin(i).

I also put theremin kits into old drive-in movie theater speaker enclosures :)

This video is for educational purposes, I am not pushing a band, or anything.
Enjoy, & thank you for the education & inspiration.

Hi Thomas

I am new to the Theremini and am grateful for the presets you contributed. They will start my collection.

Many thanks

Phil

Thanks Thomas and Gary (and the other folks with presets on the animoog site if you are here) for the presets, I already prefer them to the factory voices despite being totally new to playing thereminish instruments as my theremini arrived last Sunday despite having been fascinated by them since first coming across them as a kid in the 70s. Lets just say its a lot harder to pull the right note out of thin air than it is to play it on my clarinet which is the instrument that distracted me from theremins 40 ish years ago. Despite that I'm hooked, so much so I ordered an open theremin kit today to keep the theremini company!
