I'm sure my question is common, but it still needs to be asked. I am interested in learning how to play the theremin, but I'm not sure which model to buy. I know that I do want a volume and pitch antenna so I can play serious music, and I have narrowed down my list to the Theremaniacs Volume and Pitch antenna model and the Moog Theremini. Which of these should I get?

jt, you are asking the wrong the question. Post a link to a youtube video that demonstrates the style and sound of what you want to do in a couple of years. Experimenting with electronic construction, making interesting noises, to onstage breath taking performances will all have different answers.

I would never recommend to you, though popular, that $$$$ over priced Moog Pro theremin, it makes no sense?
