Mic stand

I'd appreciate some recommendations for a really solid mic stand for an Etherwave Std. Currently, I'm using my wife's camera tripod (it's rather expensive and she wants it back!). I had mounted it on a cheap mic stand:

and the wobble was disgusting.

I looked at the one above ($20!), on TW's gear page and thought "you get what you paid for"...

 Simple.  the very best mic stand for a theremin is ..... DR Pro.    They are not cheap, but are very rugged and stable.  I have some done extensive research. Most stands are complete crap but one does clearly stand out. They also have a wider leg base than nearly every other folding stand ive encountered.

 Thanks.  Not cheap, but not a horrible price either.
