I plan to order the ESPE01 in the next 24 hours or so, but since I have next to no experience with soddering and no tools, I thought it might be wise to see if anyone here might be nearby and willing to install it for me (would gladly compensate of course).

I know a couple circuit bending enthusiasts and an electrical engineer here in Portland, but I would feel much more secure paying someone who knows theremins and has already installed the ESPE01 successfully. I expect it will take a while for the part to arrive, but I thought it might be good to send out some feelers now so I can get the process rolling as soon as it does. ..or otherwise study up and try to prepare to do it myself.

Talk to Adrian at Bridgetown Electronics Repair. He installed ESPE01 for me in 2018 and did a great job. I don't remember exactly how much it was but not too much - he charged me his hourly rate for 90 minutes I think. Real nice guy, enthusiastic about electronic music. His shop is on SE division; here is the website: https://www.bridgetownrepair.com/
