Hi there,
Can't find out how to start a new post, so I'm stringing this in the hope it will be read.
I have a Theremini, made good inroads into command line editing the presets to get finer response and was fustrated at having to play it back to front, as I'm left handed (although when i hold strings down on my bass with my left hand and pluck with my right, thats referred as being right handed?)
So I have already rehoused the components into a wooden enclosure, recalibrated it and played it. The volume antenna is more exposed and seems to respond a bit better.
I am already working on a new enclosure which will include a classic volume antenna and hope this will improve volume response even more.
I would like to get some practical advise on the following;
Can I replace the pitch antenna board with a new board, what components would be needed
Can I make any improvements to the volume antenna components i.e. replacing anything and wiring out to a new smaller board
-------------
My background is from being in IT infrastructure in design and implimentation, teaching English as a foreign language, and as a semi-professional saxophonist and graphic novel artist and author.
Being left handed, I had already modified my Ew plus had to replace coils as they were doa and retuned it. Also fitted the bass module which made huge improvements, so I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty.

I only want constructive advise, as I feel that too much bad blood has been shed as negatives in the past with regards to the Theremini, which does not bode well for a forum supposed to give advise and help to the Theremin community.
I don't care that I've voided my warranty, I just want to see if a Theremini can have a few mods made to it which will make it better.
