Sounds reasonable. Luckily there has been enough clearance with the variable inductor. Otherwise no problem: just saw off a little piece from the antenna.. gently..

Just contacted my seller "DJ Store" in Australia and they have given me a "subject to change" delivery estimate of October. I don't mind the wait. One thing I did organise with them was an extended warranty, so now I am covered for anything going wrong for 3 years. That ought to sort out any demons.

i had no issue with mine, and lately, after have calibrate the volume in modern mode, no more sound in traditional mode.... 

i had some issue with volume and playing with antenna was sorting it out, or after theremin powered on for a long time, no more sound, reboot was doing the job, but not anymore.
any way to fix that? cant even find a reset procedure, that s weird, is there any?

This may well be your problem 

dont think it s the same issue, mine was working fine till i do volume calibration in modern mode, now classic mode volume is gone. i can hear a thin sound whi the speaker, like a leak of sound volume, no clear sound. 
it works perfectly in modern mode, if the volume antenna had a connectivity issue, it wouls also be useless in modern mode  no?

interesting, i ve tuned the volume using the tool , got a sound when doing 2 round ccw but it s un playable, when i turn the volume antenna button to the right, i get no sound, should be the opposite, i ve reset the coil to where it was. weird

r tightness.[EDIT] So a proposed volume loop "tuning" procedure sans equipment:0. Ensure volume loop connectivity (sand the end face and locking studs if necessary).1. Put the Claravox in "Traditional" mode.2. Set the "Volume Antenna" knob to 12 noon (straight up).3. Adjust the volume coil slug for maximum volume with your hand away from the volume loop (kinda hard to do while adjusting the slug!).4. Wiggle the "Volume Antenna" knob to ensure maximum volume is around 12 noon, if not repeat step 3 & 4 until it is.

Thanks. Mine is 218. Glad yours is now working. I haven’t had a problem since Dewster and I fixed mine.
