Cycling '74's new Hipno VST plug-in collection features a video theremin module appropriately titled the "VTheremin". Like other video theremins, just connect a standard webcam to your PC or Mac, load the plugin, and you're up and running. The VTheremin appears to offer 2 oscillators that can be controlled independently by tracking 2 objects in color video. Unfortunately, their website doesn't offer any sound samples.
Developer Tim Place's own Tap.Tools includes the same object for Max/MSP.
