More exciting festival news! electro-music has announced the 2008 schedule.
There were fears it might not happen but they've pulled through yet again.
electro-music is a three day conference/music festival and it's going to be held at the impressive Renaissance Center in Kingsport Tennessee, August 14 - 16, 2008. The program will include lectures, demos, jam sessions, and concerts.
The scope of this festival is very broad, covering all aspects of electronic music, and very welcoming to thereminists. Last year TW members Kip Rosser and Kevin Kissinger were featured performers. This festival is unique in it's focus on community development, sharing between artists, audience education, and of course great music. They pack in an astounding number of performances running back to back non-stop each day, often with live video plus it's all streamed on-line! Full info. is available at electro-music.com.
