After a gut-wrenching 7 minute descent from orbit, NASA's Mars Rover Curiosity touched down on the surface of Mars today, fueling the dreams of space geeks and Sci-Fi fanatics all over the world. In true Buck Rodgers style, the car-sized landed hung from a rocket-powered backpack as it landed on the red planet.
Nobody knows what it will find, but thereminists have a pretty good idea...

If you're inspired by the Curiosity landing, feel free to record your own idea of what the national anthem of Mars might sound like for the Therelympics!
A huge thanks to Dominik Bednarz for creating today's very special site logo!
Check out NASA's site for a stream of photos being sent back from Curiosity.

don't think well be finding anyone from Mars Attacks on the red planet, sorry to say. LOL Funny movie. :)
Plenty of used rovers to select from once you get there. Mileage is a bit high on them though.
