On Sunday, May 12th 2013 at 1 PM there will be a kind of world premiere: for the first time after 80 years, there will be a public concert of an "ELECTRIO": Marieke van Heyden - Theremincello, Thorwald Jørgensen - Theremin and Thijn Vermeulen - Piano.
Works from Rachmaninoff, Matteson, Piazolla and others will be played.
Thereminworld's technical redactor Thierry Frenkel will give a short public lecture about Leon Theremin and his instruments just before the concert.
Thorwald Jørgensen's Theremin is a creation of Thierry Frenkel (cabinet by Michel Chazot) as well as the Theremincello played by Marieke van der Heyden (housing and mechanics by Augusto Triani).
