This is a big deal for World Thereminization!
Sean Micheals has won the prestigious Scotiabank Giller prize for his debut work, Us Conductors: A Novel. The $100,000 prize is the most lucrative literary award in Canada and brings a lot of attention to both Michaels and the theremin.
Some in the theremin community took offense at the liberties Michaels took with the retelling of the life of Leon Sergeyvich Termen, but Michaels has always been very clear that this is a fictional work inspired by facts. It's a fun read either way.
Us Conductors is available at Amazon.com in both ebook and physical formats.
Congratulations to Sean Micheals from Theremin World!
