In honor of Bob Moog's 84th birthday, our good friends at the Bob Moog Foundation have issued 3 limited edition posters. Of course, this is our favorite!
The posters measure 11" by 17" and are printed in Asheville, NC. Only 150 copies of each poster are available. They can be purchased for $15 each or $40 for a complete set (plus shipping).
The Bob Moog Foundation was founded by Michelle Moog-Koussa in 2005, shortly after Bob's passing. Their mission is to "ignite the innovator in us all through exposure to interactive educational experiences that draw from Dr. Bob Moog's legacy of groundbreaking work at the intersection of music, science, and imagination." Through programs like Dr. Bob's Sound School and the preservation of the Bob Moog Archives and musical inventions, the foundation provides hands-on opportunities for children and adults to learn about sound and synthesis.
Basically, BMF is awesome. Why not honor the good doctor on his birthday by purchasing a poster or making a donation to the foundation?
